LATROBE CITY CLASSIC 2013

The Latrobe City Bocce Classic was another big win for the Latrobe Valley region.  Twenty teams from around Victoria and the Latrobe Valley contested this three day Bocce Open, over Friday 5th to Sunday 7th July, at the Italian Australian Club in Morwell. The major sponsor, the Latrobe City presented the prize money’s to the first to fourth place getters at the finale luncheon.

The Championship was traditionally opened on the Friday evening by the Mayor of the Latrobe City Cr. Sandy Kam, in front of the official guests, Councillor Darrell White, Councillor Christine Sindt, State MP for the region Russell Northe, together with Club President Tony D’Urbano and Bocce Club President Tony Paolini.  Competition play continued through Saturday and Sunday with the final at Sunday noon.
