Australia competes at the WORLD GAMES

Oceania Bocce record holder and current Australian champion for the Progressive Throw discipline Santo Pascuzzi jnr. will be representing Australia at the World Games in Cali, Columbia between 29th to 31st July, 2013 where 106 Nations will be competing for top honours in 36 sports! Santo will be vying for gold against the world’s best six players in this event!

In this Bocce Progressive Throw discipline, the player requires the athleticism of a middle distance runner as he competes in a 27 meter long court, constantly running, alternately in one direction and then the other, covering over 1000 metres in 5 minutes and throwing some 50 kilogram weight of bowls at dedicated targets. The number of successfully hit targets making up the score

Bocce Australia has great confidence in Santo doing well, given his past history at World Championships and National competitions!
